About AID Columbus

AID Columbus was formed when one of the volunteers in College Park chapter, Balaji Sampath decided to take a road trip along the East Coast in 1997. He called up his college friends and alumni in major cities and campuses ahead of this trip, and landed in Columbus one day. His talk inspired a few students to start the Columbus chapter. The interest died very soon, but was revived in 1999, and the chapter has continued to function uninterrupted since then. AID Columbus is also a registered student organization at The Ohio State University.
